Update Information:


Hey all, it's time for Intermission! This time for you we've got a mysterious animation, new login reward, streaming drops, and "Hostile Takeover: Phase Two"!

Hostile Takeover: Phase 2
We have some additional content and features for Hostile Takeover that were released in the update today. 

Highlights include:

  • Electric weapons adjusted, and shock states added to creatures.
  • Added a new craftable T.I.N.G.L.E. Node.
  • Drying Rack changed to have multiple slots.
  • Celestial Altar crafting adjustments.
  • Post Celestial Scion adjustments to Lunar questline.
  • Lunar Hail optimizations, and the falling debris has been replaced with a new event and mutation.
  • Rendering optimizations.

Board Game Update!

Our Friends at Glass Cannon Unplugged have updated the Dont Starve The Board Game project page with new images and info. They'll be launching in September. Follow the campaign to stay up to date on future launch details and to get a free gift if you decide to support the project!

Changes since last beta build

  • Creature Corpses now have an insanity aura.
  • Fixed using ellipsis symbols in some speech strings.
  • Fixed being able to feed more Infused Moon Shards to the Caged Bright-Beaked Bird than necessary.
  • Fixed Caged Bright-Beaked Birds, Moonblind Crows, and Misshapen Birds being able to be put to sleep with a Pan Flute.
  • Fixed Bright-Beaked Birds brilliance cooldown resetting when trapped and taken out of a Bird Trap.
  • Fixed Bright-Beaked Birds brilliance cooldown indicator not working properly when the cooldown has ended.
  • Fixed Personal Floater removing hunger drain rates on Warly and other characters.
  • Fixed 0 damage attacks, like Fire Darts or Walter’s Poop Pellets, destroying T.I.N.G.L.E. Nodes.
  • Walls, Fences, Cannon Tower, Ruins Relics, Prickly Stagehand, and Ancient Sentrypede are now immune to electric damage.
  • Fixed Drying Rack again for not resuming perishing in rain.
  • Fixed bug causing attacks to instantly interrupt Ancient Guardian out of its stunned state.
  • Fixed bug causing electric shocks to instantly interrupt Wrathful Rabbit King out of its stuck state.
  • Added missing electrocute states for Moose/Goose and King of the Merms.
