Update Information:
Hey guys, here is the first update with some of the changes we are working on for part 2 of the Hostile Takeover update. This one took a bit longer because we had to go through every single creature to add their shock states. More to come soon!
Additions
-
Added shock states to all creatures with the following exceptions:
- Machine (but not Clockworks), rock, and cookie based creatures are immune to electric damage and shock.
- Plant based creatures take electric damage, do not have a shock state, and are set on fire when electrocuted.
- Shadows, gestalts, and ghosts take electric damage, but do not have a shock state.
- Electric attacks have a chance to chain to nearby creatures (shock effect only, not damage).
- Lightning strikes will now shock and damage enemies that are able to be electrocuted.
-
Added Electric Fence Post item.
- Triggers a minor shock which has no damage and does not set plant based creatures on fire.
- Currently, the blueprint is dropped by Scrappy Werepig, but we may change how it is obtained later.
- Added more Research Notes to get from Wagstaff.
Quality of Life
- Rendering optimizations for Lunar hail, Celestial Scion’s ground attack effects, and Winona’s Shadow Planar Strike.
- Terramite electric beams no longer block mouseovers.
- Placement of the drones for the W.A.R.B.O.T. fight now snap to their placement locations.
- Boat placement is no longer blocked by items and birds. Items will be pushed away, and Puffins will fly away.
Changes
- Buzzards will now fly away when taking fire damage.
- Notional Fabricator now starts with a recipe to make Astroggles and Incomplete Experiment Blueprints.
-
Post Celestial Scion
- Notional Fabricator gets Wagstaff's private stash of blueprints.
- Lunar mutated bosses will now drop ingredients for creating Spark Arks.
- Updated Celestial Champion so it can’t be frozen like its Celestial Scion phase.
