AMMEE Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 In my opinion, the prioritization system does not work perfectly. I often experince that i set the prioritization to 9, and the duplicents dont care about it. They could do that task, they can reach it, they have materiel for it, there is no other task with prioritization 9, not even close to it, and they just running around the map. It is a very good example from my last game that my energy was generated by the Coal Generator, and all of my oxygen generator depended from the power. So it was really important to keep maintaince these generators. I had 6t coal and as i said they could reach the coal and also the generators, so they could fill it up. The prioritization was 9 and nothing else had prioritization 9. But they didnt care about it. But! When one of them made a mess, and i set the mop prioritization to 9 and i appointed the mess, they immediately mopped it. It is not clear to me, why thy are prioritizting the "irrelevant" tasks for more than the life support tasks. So also on this map, also in this situation, why is it more important to them to take a shower, and wash their hands, thank care with the tasks with prioritization 9 or with the tasks that are indispensable? TayDex Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 It's working fine for me.But when duplicants eat or are on the toilet, they dont just stop it and do it.So yeah that is one reason.When they start something they end it before doing something else...Also if you have no energy and no oxygen you can turn on Alert Red.Then they only do what they need to survive. Yeah its okay if they dont abort the process which they are working or doing but you know the shower and the hand wash is not the most important task what they have to do. And as i said. In the same situation they "havent got time" to fill up the Coal Generators but they "have time" to Mop. In my point of view, something does not work well with it.
