Hello, i had a question about modding "in game" objects, like pig houses, stone walls, chests and such, i think i figured out, roughly, how graphics (sprites i believe they are called) could be edited, they are locked in archive and in a .tex format but you can unpack them and use tool to reformat them into .png and then edit, so i think i understand it.

My question is about adding new sprites for the same object alongside old ones. Maybe I'll use an example to make it clearer, pig house for instance, you can only see front of it, there's just this one perspective, there are few other sprites of it in the file, like burned out version or ruined one and such, but its shown only from the front, so when you move camera the image moves with it and you always see the front.

I wondered if it would be possible to add new sprites for given object (pig house in this example) and set them up so they would change with the camera, so the front would be visible from only one perspective, and when player moves camera around he would see sprite for corner of the building, side wall, another corner, back wall and so on.

I hope i didn't make it too convoluted.

I also wondered about adding completely new objects to the game, but it might be even more complicated i suppose, but i know it impossible since there are mods for such things.

So does anyone know if this is possible or how to do it? Maybe i didn't explain it well. I think it should be possible because it is possible with player sprite and mobs. If this would work out id like to make few extra objects for the game as well, add more furniture pieces and other structures, i love Don't starve's aesthetic and gameplay but id like more building options
