New item suggestion: Slopes

Both? =D

I could see possible benefits to either. Obviously liquid would flow better on slopes, but have Dupes go the same speed walking up and down stairs, while they go faster down slopes but slower up slopes. That way you have to be strategic where you use them.

On an unrelated note, I just noticed you have put up a lot of suggestion posts recently. Not saying it's bad, just saying you must be really excited about ONI.

Hehe, yes I am. Bought it 7 days ago, and have already put down 76 hours according to steam (and yes, I have a full time job). So when I found out Klei wanted suggestions on the forum, and I finally maned up to posting on a public forum, I kinda couldn't stop. But in fear of spamming, I'll stop now, and let the rest out over the next days =)

Yeah, I just manned up enough to join the forums myself. And I wouldn't worry about spamming, it seems like they enjoy input about their games. If you are worried about putting out too many posts however, you could put multiple ideas in one post, but that's probably not necessary.

Back to the topic though, I had an idea about the stairs. they could make it where you can pass through them, so you can use stairs down to a floor, then walk to the area behind the stairs. That way they still are a good alternative to ladders. Also, creatures could use them, so you could try to guide say a hatch to an upper level if you had a place for them without building a bunch of tiles and hoping for the best.
