skyx700
I'd really like to split my duplicants into groups so when I task, lets say my digging group, to something i see them going to do it instead of helping build. It feels like a lot of progress gets slowed because the duplicants are switching between tasks so often. Perhaps in addition to groups I could task them with a schedule to eat, harvest, build, dig, etc at certain times during a cycle. I'd like to setup my duplicants into different groups, one group for researching and managing the base (refilling buildings that consume materials), one group for building, and one group for digging. This way certain things get done at the same rate as other objectives, instead of things being completed linearly, (one task after another) Instead of digging, then building, then harvesting, then managing, one step after another, those steps will all be completed at about the same rate at the same time by different groups. I'll say it again though, it feels like the duplicants run around and switch between tasks before completing the task they started, so progress gets really slowed down, and i find myself abusing priority 9 because a certain water or power system isn't being completed when it needs too (all the progress stopped on that system and the duplicants are doing other things). tafelskif
You can do that already by (un)assigning certain tasks to certain dupes in the "Jobs"-Section in the top right corner of the screen. ie you can tell a dupe to only mine and another one to only research etc. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/76153-dividing-duplicants-into-groups/#findComment-884690 Share on other sites
