zoom out tweak problem

hi,

I'm trying to tweak camera to zoom out a little bit more so what I did is change some values in "followcamera.lua" (data\scripts\cameras)

changed value is

self.maxdist = 100

it works out okay in game but player map reveal range doesn't get effected, I can see far away but fog doesn't work as it should, I'm getting sick of walking everywhere to reveal parts of the map and my goal isn't cheat, I just want to player reveal some more distance, that reveal range probably somewhere in script files but I cannot find it, there is mods makes all world reveal but I don't want it..
