Custom Follower Modding

Hi all,

I was wondering what was necessary to create a custom follower for a character mod, and since ive had no luck using tutorials and Google, i thought id ask here. From what ive learned so far, to have a minion the mod requires the following:

The minionbrain.lua file, containing all the min/max follow distance, its general behaviour and such.

The SGminion.lua, the stategraph which im not 100% sure what it actually is.

The minion.lua, containing the usual lua stuff.

The character itself needs a "petleash" tag, so the minion knows who to follow.

Have i missed anything (probably) that needs to be included, or does anyone have any advice on creating a follower? Hopefully if we can get some info on here it will help other modders as well, so lets share the knowledge people
