Help needed for a custom character...

I am going to create a character mod for Don't Starve and if everything goes well, port it to Don't Starve Together.

I still haven't made it. But when you read this, I probably already created the base to edit.

 

The Problem:

So, the help I need is just for someone to direct me to some mods, tutorials or guides that help me implement the features I want to add to the character. Or if they don't exist and a person feels like they want to help, explain in layman's terms how to add them in. Here are the features:

1. Have the character's quotes change depending on the current sanity level.

2. The character cannot eat meat.

3. The character's appearance changes depending on the current sanity level (they look more tired/freaked out the lower their sanity is. (Up to 3 changes.)

4. The character has extra lines for certain events. (The idea may or may not be added, but an explanation on how to do it is acceptable, but not urgent.)

5. Character has a hat that can store items. (Either 3 or 9 slots, whichever is less broken/more helpful.)

6. Loses sanity faster in the dark.

7. Overheats faster.

8. Freezes slower.

 

... And that's the most important things. Any help is appreciated.

Ps. I won't create all the assets until I get the above working in the mod.
