JakeCompton Posted May 22, 2016 Share Posted May 22, 2016 The ruins can be a very brutal place for Abigail with the likes of bishops and rooks. After a tussle, she's either dead or very low health. Being a very caring sister, I always try to heal her back to health, but to my surprise she runs away, and healing her to full hp with my salves took minutes. Klei, can you make Abby stay still when out of combat and targeted by a healing item, whether from Wendy or someone else. Please make it identical to how pigs will not run from you when you target them with meat. As it is now, the option to heal Abigail is there, but it is a redundant option because she runs off when targeted, and the process of fully healing her can take minutes. It'd be a nice QOL boost that Abby needs to fair well in more harsh environments. The slow 1 hp/sec regeneration does not cut it for ruins and big bosses. Cheers! I don't know if she'd need to stop moving when others try to heal her since she doesn't run away from them, iirc. As you say, it's mostly a QoL boost, since you'd still need to have the healing items and decide that it's worth the time/items to heal her. JakeCompton Posted May 28, 2016 Author Share Posted May 28, 2016 Yeah, I'm only asking for a QoL boost because I believe Wendy's in a pretty good spot right now. Wendy can have Abigail available at any time since she can craft multiple flowers and they bloom; ready the moment Abigail dies. Though, the penalty there is losing massive amounts of sanity. Respawning Abigail every time she dies in the ruins wouldn't be sustainable for long because you'd be at 0 sanity pretty quickly. Also, carrying around 2-3 Abby flowers takes up unnecessary space because each individual flower uses its own inventory slot. The fact that Abigail kills hordes of spiders very quickly and that rocks and ashes are not hard to come by, means that stacking up on salves is not difficult to do. Being able to heal Abigail efficiently would make a good strategy for Wendy to take on the clockwork in the ruins. I may be wrong but I think I saw a teammate of mine try to heal Abby and Abigail ran off. Will have to try myself to confirm.
