Disappearing items...

Highly enjoying Shipwrecked so far! Just wanted to report the fact that Ive seen a few instances of things just glitch-vanishing. Heres a few examples:

 

1) I shot one of the mouthy, pirate hat-wearing parrots with some eyeshot, and he hit the ground flopping. I went to pick him up. As I held the item in midair, a "99%" was hovering over the icon itself. When I went to put the parrot item into an empty slot in my regular inventory.... POOF! gone.

 

2) Ive seen the butterflies simply vanish a few times, usually in the middle of their "figure 8" animation.

 

3) I had a rowboat with a sail and a light equipped. I then fashioned up a trawling net so I could harvest some food... when I went to put the net item's icon into the rowboat's equpiment slot, the sail VANISHED!! I figured it would be returned to my inventory or at the least, dropped on the ground... is this a bug or intentional??

 

There are a couple other instances where something would disappear on me, but I cant remember them well enough to describe the circumstances.

 

Anyway, the only other issue Ive seen yet is the tendency for my game to show some slowdown when theres too many prime apes running around screen, ugh. Otherwise, great work! Having lots of fun.
