LarmenSalmonella Posted April 23, 2015 Share Posted April 23, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: Gameplay Issue Title: Uncontrollable rain Issue Description: With rain set to None, rain is still frequent and long-lasting in game. I daresay, it actually rains more days than not. Separately, in Don't Starve and Don't Starve ROG, it is possible to kill tentacles by planting trees around them, allowing the trees to grow, and then lighting the trees on fire. The fire kills the tentacles, even underground. This handy survival trick is ineffective in Don't Starve Together. Steps to Reproduce: Rain occurs sporadically during gameplay. Plant pinecones in a ring as close to tentacle hole as game will allow. Allow trees to grow (any growth stage is acceptable- as long as not saplings.) Light trees with torch. Resulting fire SHOULD kill the tentacle- even if the tentacle is submerged.
