I was looking into how the engine handles shaders and they seem to be GLSL shaders, but they also appear to be partially encrypted? Is it possible to write a GLSL shader from scratch and use it in a mod? I'm interested in doing some on the fly color tweaks to textures and couldn't find any API calls so writing my own shader would be the next best thing.

 

Have any modders played with making their own shaders for Don't Starve or manipulated existing shaders?
