Suggestion: Add Natural Backwalls to All Existing Biomes for Better Ecological Consistency

Hello Klei team,

I would like to suggest expanding the Natural Backwall system to the older biomes in Oxygen Not Included.

The introduction of Natural Backwalls in the newer DLC biomes is one of the most impressive environmental improvements in the game. It makes caves feel much more natural and alive, because the underground world is no longer just a layer of tiles with a flat background texture. It creates a stronger feeling of exploring a real underground ecosystem.

However, older biomes still use the traditional background system, which makes them feel visually outdated compared to the newer environments. Currently, there is a noticeable difference between the new DLC worlds and the original ecosystems.

I think it would be a great improvement if every biome could have its own unique Natural Backwall style, for example:

- Sandstone biome: weathered rock walls

- Swamp biome: wet organic walls covered with moss or algae

- Frozen biome: ice crystal walls

- Saltwater biome: salt mineral formations

- Oil biome: dark sedimentary rock walls

This would not only improve visual consistency but also make every asteroid feel like a more complete and believable ecosystem.

I understand this may require adjustments to world generation and old saves, but I believe this feature would greatly improve exploration, immersion, and the overall atmosphere of Oxygen Not Included.

Natural Backwalls are not just decoration. They change how players perceive the underground world. Expanding this system to all biomes would be a meaningful evolution of the game's environment design.

Thank you for continuing to support Oxygen Not Included!
