Concerns About Ethanol Distillation

Since we're getting more wood type materials that can be manually fed into the ethanol distiller (such as plywood and the new gum wood), how would I be able to restrict which wood I want to feed into the distiller? Is the only way is by restricting dupe access to the distiller and automate the wood delivery with autosweepers, filtering out woods I don't want to distil? Shouldn't the ethanol distiller as a building that has multiple possible ingredient input that can be inserted manually also have the a recipe selection menu?
