I currently have a save that's gone past 500 days. I've already set up a base that is temperature-stable and permanently lit, along with a farm that has the same conditions. Most of my saves don't make it past 2000 days, and I honestly don't know what else to do at that point.I'd love to see your builds.

Of course. You should check out Don't Starve farm/base expert videos on YouTube or Bilibili — they always give you irresistible reasons and benefits that make you want to copy their designs. And... here's my base. Every part of it has a clear purpose. My style is functionality first, with luxury decorations stuffed into all sorts of nooks and crannies.image.png.9512b17b479babd7c75f224ab4004127.png

That screenshot was taken in winter, so the snow covered the ground. Here's one from summer — you can see the center of my base much more clearly (and yes, the outer parts already extend way beyond the default loading range). The way to keep playing for a long time is simply this: do all kinds of pointless things. Every year during my downtime I plant crops, and I've made over twenty bundles of Dragonpie and all sorts of dishes — and I swear I will never actually open and use them. I just watch the numbers grow, utterly meaningless. I also set up a Varg farm with eight Vargs that has piled up over 4,000 Monster Meat, which I then feed to birds one by one. And to keep my combat skills sharp, every now and then I go and manually defeat Celestial Scion — so much so that I've now accumulated over a hundred Celestial Jewels, and I just keep getting more proficient... I even imitated the Witcher's story: I manually changed my name to Geralt, asked a friend to join the game and kill me with a pitchfork, leaving behind a corpse with Geralt's name as an outdoor artificial easter egg. I leave traces in the world in all kinds of ways. In short, what I'm saying is — you can do anything! Pave the entire world with Stone Flooring? Hoard thirty Houndius Shootius just to execute CC? Design a spectacular boss arena scene around a boss's respawn point? Any completely meaningless thing is fair game!image.png.2e8dd3b4dbe934115cd525e42a5ef256.pngimage.png.6527e95c880c4d60409eb406323ea784.png

"What a pity, Geralt of Rivia was unprepared for a pitchfork."
