Have you done boss runs with both Wigrid and WX? WX is broken from day 1 and continues to be broken all the way to post-rifts and endgame if you play them properly. WX-78 has access to unlimited night vision, seasonal immunity, mag speed, 300+ HP, and even mob control in the first few days. I've mained all these characters and have done full boss runs with them and by far WX's has been the easiest / most fun. 

He is only getting good after a ruins rush. Until then is a character with lower base stats and a bit faster survivor. And the spinning circuit is only available in your first spring. And the bodies are only good after you go to lunar island
