Please Make the Shadow Affinity Drones Look Shadowy

I don't hate the drones, but they kind of have the exact opposite problem that they had before the shadow affinity was changed. The prior shadow affinity was criticized a lot for being too shadowy and not robotic enough. Now, the drones are far too robotic and not shadowy enough.

Nothing about the drones as they are scream shadow affinity. They look like they would be entirely normal drones except they just have a weird shadow blob covering them. Without that weird shadow effect though and honestly even with it, I honestly cannot see how this is supposed to be related to shadows thematically.

I would love to see the new drones redesigned slightly to better represent their shadow alignment. Perhaps they can be cracked and damaged, with nightmare fuel oozing out of its pores like the damaged clockworks in the ruins. Maybe the drones can have shadow stuff on their design like dark tatters or dreadstone present on them, like how Woby's horns have a dreadstone appearance with the affinity or how Bernie's cloth is made from dark tatters with her affinity. Even something as simple as recoloring them to match the shadow color scheme would go a long way with making their alignment more believable. Otherwise, nothing about these drones give the impression of being shadow drones and it just feels lacking thematically.
