Is 3 heads better than 1?

  1. 1. Would you prefer if the Lunar alignment...

    • Stays as is, 3 clones that are 50% as effective as WX.
      20
    • Or, changes to be 1 clone, but it's just as effective as you are, gets the beta/gamma/alpha upgrades like you do.
      14
    • Or 3, some third thing that has nothing to do with messing with WX's already limited supply of backup teleports.

Keep in mind that 3 clones is only equal to about 1.5 your dps while the single clone is worth 1.0 your own dps

so 1 that does 1x damage would be way less costly resource wise which fixes a good number of the skills issue’s

yeah the idea was technically lower overall dps compared to 3. but more manageble, cheaper and more effective than having 2.

which I think is a fine tradeoff

The only downside is that it’s a fairly large hit to their workspeed if you want to primarily use them for chores like mining and chopping

If we don’t get something like this I think a good compromise would be to let the skill give you an extra Chassis for selecting it

thus removing the prerequisite and letting you have chassis’s out there not dedicated to being minions

I mean... if you've seen their work efficiency it's not that much lower. I think spin is good enough anyway for personal working.

Maybe it doesn't need to be black and white here. If you have 1, it benefits from the full Circuit Skill Tree benefits. If you have 2, you have only the first tier. Lastly if you have 3 you have what we have right now. It turns it into a player choice instead of only having 1 or 3.

ehhh, that sounds like a punishment for having more than 1, and doesn't fix the problems the current 3 have.

I feel like 1 super WX isn't as powerful as 3 weaker WX. Sure it now deals 100% damage, but it now does full durability damage to items meaning that the upkeep of that single WX is going to be higher (of course it's not going to be as high as 3). 3 WX-78 can all have different attack angles and can't be stun locked as easily, plus they can all have the electrocution circuit for even higher damage/more shocks than the single WX could give. I think it would be a matter of preference for each player if the option would be given.

I always just use 1-2 possessed chassis, then the third is a teleport spot at lunar island. three is super excessive, and since i run double speed i dont really feel like there's anywhere id need to teleport except for lunar island (which is where i possess more chassis anyways)

Correct, 1 isn't as powerful as 3, but it's equivalent damage and durability usage of 2, and still cheaper since you don't need to make 2 of everything. That's the tradeoff for a more consistent and non hassle Lunar clone.

How well do they work against toadstool, anyway? It seems like they have would have some advantages that normal followers lack.

Can they eat gears to heal? Are they immune to the epic fear effect that causes followers to abandon you?

From testing, yes they are amazing against toadstool, they kite the bombs with you, they won't get the cloud bubble on theire head (but the cloud still damages them) and they even chop shroom trees with you.

But you still need to give them some armor and weapons, but if can make them to not follow you to the shroom clouds, they could even use hambats.

I'd love it if the damage buff varied based on which Gestalt possesses you ^^ It'd be awesome to see them scale up and get stronger as the game goes on.

I’d much rather have one ultimate partner than look after three unreliable ones. Lore-wise, it’s a wonderful story for a lonely robot surrounded by 'fleshlings' to finally find a perfect companion.
