A Small WX-78 Upgrade to Make Malbatross Worth Fighting

Malbatross is a largely overlooked boss, mainly because ocean fights can be especially challenging, particularly for characters like WX-78 who main weakness is water.

To make this encounter more rewarding, it would be interesting to introduce a new circuit:

Waterproofing Circuit

• Raises the wetness threshold at which WX-78 begins to lose charge
• Provides slight protection against wetness

To unlock it, you would need:

• Scan the Malbatross
• x6 Malbatross Feathers

This could encourage players to engage more with ocean content while also expanding WX-78’s power by taking on challenges and investing in exploration.

I hated the idea of a waterproof circuit before and I hate it now. Water is WX's primary weakness and should not be able to be circumvented through a circuit.

Maybe we can Give a penalty where Wx-78 only benefit a % of water insolation Chlothes. So he either needs to wear both pieces of insolation. For example an eyebrella+rain coat. Or  Waterproofing Circuit + eyebrella.

At that point, aren't you just better off wearing the clothing itself while saving the slots this theoretical circuit would use up for something else?

I guess you'd still be increasing the wetness threshold, but I don't know.
