The devs seem too put a looot of effort for the lunar affinity, which is great! However I'd like to see a bit more on the shadow side, too.

 

1. Adjustment to auto gathering of resources

This seems to be the "base kit" for plugging any shadow stuff. Perhaps it'll be more useful and less annoying if it only picks up stackable items that are currently in your inventory, i.e. resources and food, not equippable items.

 

2. Socketing of pure horror

I wonder why nightmare fuel can be plugged in but not pure horror. Plugging it should give additional abilities based on shadow rift creatures, e.g. throwing a shadow bomb (fused shadeling) or going into stealth mode after a while if not engaging in combat (rictus). Point is, the ability should provide an interesting combat mechanic rather than just plain 25% damage.

 

3. Socketing of dread stone

Not sure how's this gonna work. Maybe just a plain extra defense and/or planar defense would do. Or could be more creative like give weapons and tools a 50% chance to not consume durability every hit.

I don't think it's necessary anymore. The devs don't have that much time, and Shadow is already straightforward and extremely powerful. Being able to use mimic items gives a lot of flexibility, yet I hardly see anyone on the forums talking about which mimic gear is the strongest. You guys should really think about it and explore this more.

its easily the deconstruction staff. tho i could see myself duping lazy explorers
