KINOTAKO Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 How many more Gamma Circuits are they going to add? I'm honestly a bit worried about this. Unlike the Alpha and Beta Circuits, the number of possible combinations for Gamma Circuits is incredibly low. Part of the problem is that there aren't many of them to begin with, but they also take up too many slots. This high slot cost severely limits the diversity you can get from stacking them. If Gamma Circuits stay the way they are now, they completely lose one of the core concepts of playing WX-78: the joy of theory-crafting and swapping out different combinations to adapt to the situation. To fix this, I think they either need to reduce the slot cost of Gamma Circuits to encourage stacking, or add a lot more of them to the game. Also, since the whole concept of Gamma Circuits seems to revolve around active abilities, I feel like the idea of 'stacking them to make them stronger' doesn't really mesh well in the first place. I saw someone mention this in another forum, but what if instead of stacking Gamma Circuits to buff them, they were buffed through synergies with your Alpha and Beta Circuits? This way, the devs wouldn't have to design a ton of brand-new Gamma Circuits from scratch—they could just utilize the existing ones. It would save development time while still allowing for some really unique and creative builds! It's probably too difficult for the devs to completely overhaul and replace all the Gamma Circuits from scratch at this point. That's exactly why I suggested reducing the slot costs and adding synergies as a more realistic solution. Also, it's just really disappointing to me that even though Gamma Circuits give active abilities, none of them really capture that cool 'robot fantasy' or charm. Let's just wait and see what the next update brings! This is exactly the kind of stuff I was hoping to see added for Gamma Circuits in the first place. I've honestly always felt that the nerf to the Alpha Circuits was just a tragedy that happened for the sake of the Gamma Circuits. We only have one week left... if they aren't added in this next update, it's probably not going to happen at all. I've seen so many posts on the forums over time with ideas for new Gamma Circuits. Since time is running out before the update, I did some quick math to clearly show just how severe the Gamma Circuit situation actually is. Here are the total numbers of possible combinations when filling up all 7 slots for each circuit type: Alpha (α): 231 combinations Beta (β): 247 combinations Gamma (γ): " 4 " combinations This is a genuinely serious problem... Honestly, I'm just hoping they add something to improve water resistance for Gamma upgrades and something for movement, whether it's dashes, grappling hooks, or jumps. I had the idea of giving WX rocket boots that consume huge amounts of hunger/fuel to use.
