I respect your opinion but I have to disagree, I understand nerfing the electric and beanbooster circuit, but I think nerfing all the others is overkill because they just don't deserve a nerf.

What is so overpowered about the gastrogain circuit it needed a nerf?

I think it may honestly be better to reduce the circuit slots from 21 down to 14 but instead make them universal So that way circuits are competitive with each other again. 
This way circuits won't have to be nerfed so hard to compensate having more slots.  And it would actually make some of the skills on the tree change something about the character instead of returning some circuits to a pre nerfed state. 

I think the base aspect of having universal slots for setting up a build with wx would be much a much better format to follow especially with the new body swapping mechanic. 

Gammas also kind of feel like they should just be upgrades of the existing circuits kind of like the alpha beta buffs that exist currently. 
like the nutrient block could be for gastro The panic could be a perk for chorus the sheild perk can be for the health And having the spinning attack be a perk for speed. 

and still kind of keeps the aspect of ha ha funny big number without being too over powered since you have to give up other stats for that. 

Balance is the only concern with the new system.

The new system is way better designed. I just think it should be balanced to a good power level. They can nerf circuits.

No there are a lot of things that work but the way that they are just implemented kind of go against itself 

The biggest concept of this really is just kind of the start of the skill tree where Hardy and the bean and a lot of the other circuits were a lot stronger. 

They would actually be considered competition for the other circuits that people just generally run. But since they gave so many slots just right off the bat you can make these insane combos that made everything get nerfed. 

There wasn't even a chance for the other circuits to shine or to combat against the so called meta of circuits. Giving a spot for each one actually gives less variety.  Because no longer are the circuits all competing against each other they are only competing against their fellow versions where in that case the player just chooses the max  each one. 

Having a restriction with less and more unique usages for each circuit provides better competition and more synergy with the rest of his build such as the bodies. 

 

Currently all I  see people using the bodies for are for makeshift structures for light,  gardening, and teleportation. 

Hence the meaning of something good but just done wrong.

I still basically am though because the player can still choose to use seven alpha and betas separately as if they had the two separate slots but now I'm just giving you the option to use more of the betas or more of the alphas I think that's better it allows for more absurdity which is good

Just because someone is going to do something doesn't mean that.we should balance off of that. So what if people believe that there's a set meta you don't have to follow it that's the beauty of playing WX you get to choose and create how you want to play.

Literally speed circuits do it if you have 14 universals I think it's going to be necessary so that way we don't get to the crazy absurd  effects of stacking 14 of the same circuit

It's also you know being part of a skill tree instead of just having so many things given to him just on base so that way the player can choose how they want to allocate points? 

This is a skill tree right? not a rework

Buffs and nerfs are nessecary for a healthy balance in any game. If we only ever buff and never nerf then we get into powercreep situations which is, generally, a bad thing for the player base. Unless, for some reason, every has more fun playing in god mode which, does not sound fun. But I am myself and can only speak for myself in that regard.

When it comes to Gastrogain, when stacked it caused WX to lose like 4-6 hunger a day. Making one of the main elements of the survival game a non-issue. (Granted it already is with how abundant food is, but that is where powercreep with things like plantable banana bushes come into play)
