Title.

I'm using a couple of mods whose authors went unresponsive and the mods stopped working after the latest DST update. I don't have any knowledge about coding or modding myself and don't have time and patience to figure out how to do it from scratch. I would like to find a person who commissions the two broken mods for me for a reasonable payment. One of the mods has an explicit author's permission to fork off it because the author stopped working and is no longer playing DST. The other one is a pretty common idea and likely requires no permission to re-upload or re-make it. Both mods have no original artworks and work only with already existing game assets.

If this is not the right place to ask these kind of questions, please point me a place where I can contact someone who could help me with this - discord/steam discussion thread etc.

Hi, Do you mind sharing which specific mods you’re talking about?

Hi, thanks for your response. I wish I saw it sooner, the forum never notified me there was a reply to my thread and I never checked directly. Seems like I no longer need help with these mods -  after I posted this my friend helped me to solve the issue by tasking an AI coding assistant to fix the broken mods and so far it works locally in my mods folder. I have a few tweaks to it in mind but it seems like it would be possible to do using AI as well since it handled the first request well already. Maybe then I'll upload the updated mods to the workshop myself (that part I have done once, it's the coding part that I couldn't do myself because I don't know lua and have no idea how to find dst code and how it works).

Thanks for your time and sorry for my late response, I only read your comment today after accidentally checking the thread directly. Somehow I expectes to see notifications of the thread replies on the main forum page but I guess that's not working if the reply doesn't quote my post.

Last time I asked AI to help write code it gave me some gibberish because it had hard time understanding nuances in dst mods. I wonder what kind of input and type of problem you asked it to do?
