pearl/treasure map different

what if you made the pieces of map that reveal themselves black and white until you actually go there? as wortox i always forget if i went to pearl or not and start opening the treasure bottles only to realise im wasting them on "locating" pearl again. making them black and white would be a cool indicator of where youve actually been vs where youve only heard about or read about. it makes sense lore wise and would be a helpful mechanic for some playstyles as well (most of the time you can tell if youve been there but if you teleport as wortox or using bootleg getaways or just wormholes and caves, then sometimes you cant tell if youve actually been to a place that revealed itself to you)
