The loot dropped by the mutated vulture is too perfunctory and useless, and its ultra-long-duration moonfire attack increases the difficulty of killing it. I suggest adding items like Pure Radiance to its drops to match its difficulty!

After the recent changes to the mutated vulture, it poses an even greater threat to players. Similar to the hellhound attacks, there should be advance warnings of its raids in the upcoming update. Reminding players through character dialogue is also a good approach!

If the loot was good people would like them more. They are difficulty with zero reward

Nightmares even have great loot and they are meant to be downsides like starving

Revisiting the post, if the purpose of designing the Crystal Crown Vulture was to make players avoid it, then it is undoubtedly a failed design. The current focus should be on improving and optimizing the vulture's attack mechanism, at least providing players with a chance to react.

It's extremely easy to exterminate the mobs. I always eliminate them within seconds of them appearing.

The main problem with mobs is whether they spawn at specific times (while you're near a farm). Aside from that, everything else is manageable.

What method are you using, what character?

I'd say the buzzards are really close to being manageable. The worst thing is maybe just how the reinforcement migration mechanic seems sort of random.

You can kill a bunch of them before going to your farm, but more may come back immediately. Or maybe they won't. Or maybe they'll jump in suddenly when you're halfway done farming. And if they do, you're often completely screwed.

Eliminate a single spider to attract one bird at a time. Any character with Wilson's standard damage (I haven't tested it with Wes).

When they reappear in my world, I'll make a video of it.

I placed the traps to get a damage bonus, but you don't even need them.

I mostly use this method too, but with cc crown and brightshade sword instead of reaper. The cowl and reaper kills them really fast.

It would be great if their spawn frequency and numbers could be reduced. Something like every 20-30 days, with about 10 of them at a time, and if they dropped better loot... I'd actually welcome them!!
