Steam Deck complications

Hi, I never do forums and I just made my account but I want to make this known outside of Steam forums since you guys listen more here. The game fundamentally has an issue with Steam Deck. Every time a new instance is loaded, it defaults the controls back to controller even though I'm in a docked Steam Deck with Keyboard and Mouse. I have to change the setting every time I join a server, every time I change characters, every time I LEAVE AND EXIT a cave, it's getting to the point that I don't want to abide it anymore and I want you guys to fix it, ideally. I have similar problems in Rotwood but I'll be making a separate post about that.
