For plants where the seed is the product (sleet wheat, nosh bean), the player can permanently lose access to them by letting all seeds in existence spoil or be cooked. I don't think this is a desirable feature, given that this isn't an outcome players are necessarily going to know they should attempt to prevent.

The easiest way to remedy this would be to add these items to the care package pool, at cycle 500+ OR item discovered, like other seeds. (The mimillet would also have the extinction problem, but it is in the care package pool.)

I also propose an artifact such as 'seed capsule' or 'fossilized seed,' which is infinitely obtainable from a space POI (either from a particular POI, or by sometimes replacing Office Mug) and yields a random one of these seeds (or a couple types of any seeds) when analyzed. This would also allow players with care packages disabled to obtain plants unavailable in their map.

Would be nice it there was a seed bank (feature/option)... whereby 1 seed could be added to said buildings (library), and it could be genetically reproduced... as requested, with some sort of silly requirement, x power, x organic materials, data banks (something thematic, yet pragmatic).

This sorta feels like a pitch for a rework for the new printereceptor story trait in the beta branch lol. You spend data banks and printing pod charges to print seeds or eggs. Notably it doesn’t require you to discover them first which I would argue there should be some sort of restriction on early game similar to how there is on care packages, but I don’t know.
