Hello, as the title suggests I come here with an idea for a small changes to revenant, I think that fight with WARBOT and celestial scion is one of the most suddysfing fights in the game at the moment(sure few first tries would end in a disaster, and unexperienced players must despise the scions ground attack, but later when we get the hang of it, its defeat feels amazing), but the set up to get to the WARBOT always felt super underclimactic to me, and a lot of this feeling i contribute to the revenant and its fight.

The Revenant shows up after we're done with gestalt catching and hand over to Wagstaff mentioned 6 gestalts, right after that out of nowhere Revenant falls from the sky. I just can't swallow the fact that it is just that instant.

My idea for the set up to the Revenant fight is that after we gave Wagstaff the 6 gestalts the moon turns entire day in to night(like after collecting and activating 3 altars on lunar island) but it will be just for a day, that action won't turn the full moon nights or rewrite the moon cycle it will be just this one time dedicated solely to the Revenant summon. Right after that entire Pearl island/warbot arena would be covered in moonstorm(but without the lightning or moongleams spawning, just the sandstorm part) it will make player utilize the brightshade helm a little more, and the storm won't go away until we collect the Revenants power, and after the storm is set the meteors start to rain, its moon trying to destroy Wagstaffs creation, but most of them are crushing in the shield around the robot(wagstaff learned his lesson after the champion experiment), and then the Revenant itself crushes on the arena.

And the fight itself, not gonna lie it feels a little cheap that entire Revenant fight is just phase one of the CC just with the planar upgrades.

My idea for it is to give it one more phase to spice things up. The start of the fight would be changed but after certain threshold its legs start to break and reveal more sharp crystals similar to CCs 2nd phase.

This will allow it to use more abilities we should be familiar with, it will gain ability to create the moonglass walls to limit our movement on that small arena.

and just like in the CCs phase 2 it will also could spin like a saw blade, but because of the arena limitations I know that it would be hard to avoid it, on lunar island we can outrun that attack because of the size of the island but on pearl island, this could be deadly. So i think it could spin for a smaller lengths and later during spin spring in to air and shift back to the bouncing attack from phase 1.

Now it phase 2 when it digs in the ground with its legs it creates the blue like during 3rd phase of CC area where it will spawn greater gestalt and it won't stop until player is asleep or leave the blue area.

And also now it can hit the ground with its leg to hit the player or summon waves of greater gestalts like in the phase 2 of CC.

that's pretty much it, and also I wanted to share an idea for the Inimical Gestalt redesign. I borrowed from the Grazer design, with the crystals floating inside them, but in more circular fashion. I envisioned them being taller than the rest of the gestalts.

so yeah, that's it for now and thank you.
