Keep moonstorms off :)

Why do we have to do that?

If the next update adds the downside of "Randomly scatter fires" to all characters except Wilson, "Keep playing Wilson." won't convince people.

Strawman my friend, that's not going to happen.

Klei devs knew exactly what they were doing messing with and introducing the electricity stuff. You can't have it all...

You didn't answer my question.

Klei devs knew exactly what they were doing? I doubt that. If they so, why did those many bug happen, like Charged Bolt Goats when got hit shocked only the player, Wormwood minions that didn't burn from electricity, electric shocking Cookie Cutters instantly penetrate in the boat? Why Warbler is still WIP? And I suspect that Moongrim igniting plant mobs is part of this whole mess.

True, but I was mainly referring to the plants getting caught by fire part and intended consequences; theres always going to be unintended bugs and issues or some things they missed out on when new updates release.

I didnt answer your question, because it was coming off as rhetorical. And TECHNICALLY I did; "you can't have it all,"I said, if you want to live in your dst megabase world comfortably without worrying about moonstorms, might I suggest all day world for you? No shame in that. :)

Moongrim 😂, good one... wdym by warbler WIP btw?

You didn't answer my question again.

If you suggest to go with a settings toggle, wouldn’t it be hundreds of times smarter that developers let players turn electrical fires off, rather than they force them to give up night and every gameplay element tied to it? Since there are already mods that do this, I’m not buying the argument that it’s too hard for the developers.

You’re as respectful toward non-native English speakers as IRL streamers on Kick.

Warbler was meant to be usable by players as with the Terramite, but it’s still not implemented. This suggests to me that the developers don’t have this situation fully under control.

Hmm, you've got it wrong, I thought you were making a pun so I laughed and complimented you...

As I said you, werent asking a genuine question were you?

If I had given you a genuine answer you'd just shoot me back with something else. Could you... think twice before you retaliate?

"Why should I turn off monstorms" you ask... my answer: to avoid OP's problems. The fire, the electricity etc.

We're going around in circles here. Your initial question was a confrontational one. I saw no reason to answer it.

Moonstorms active, affecting your base? Keep it unloaded or get it over with with the moonstorm minigame. Too much of a hassle? Well then keep it off. Carrying a lantern 2 minutes for each day is not that hard...

I've no knowledge of these WIP Warblers and updates and bugs.

I was merely answering OPs question, which has an easy solution... seems to me like youre just on the forums to find something to debate about. I see no reason to continue this thread I already gave my answer to the OP.

As for the electrical fires bit, seems like its here to stay. We can only hope they make it a toggleable feature. I can see wormwood and wigfrid mains dying to utilise if such a feature was an option.

Personally I think the fire stuff is hilarious and it should remain.

Take that easy pal. I just complimented your respect too. There are many respectful people in IRL streamers on Kick.

I'm not asking why moonstorm should be turned off, I'm asking why we have to be forced to make such choice to turn it off.

While you're doing your moonstorm mini"chores" (Game means something that is fun), the plant mobs will burn down your base or thyself, so it's not a valid answer. And we didn't have to drag light around until now, why we have to be taken away that, I've never gotten a decent answer.

The fact that moonstorm causes fires just seems like a just design oversight.
