So for example: only not clockwork machines, rocks, shadows, gestalts and ghosts are immune to fire and plant based could take more damage and burn longer (which technically is already in the game, but is super inconsistent and works only on treeguards and few other mobs). 

 

I think it would be cool if both damage types worked within the same system instead of current one that just slaps fire immunity at random.

There aren't really any machines in ruins that aren't clockworks, and shadows were already immune.

I meant machines that are not the clockworks, sorry if that wasn't clear

Crab king is immune to fire but not electric despite him being a big rock it’s so confusingz

He isn't immune to fire, it's just a visual bug, you see no fire on him but he still burns, heats you up and produces light.

Oh, you're right, good to know, thanks. Now I wonder when did they changed it or if it was even intendant

Pretty sure it has always been this way, at the very least even before the rework.
