Evee
Howdy I'm working on a custom hat for a Modded character and particularly doing the art. It loads up fine everything is appearing a-okay. The problem stems from the sizing and placement of the sprite. The idea was to make a Eyebrella-esc hat and it's very similar in design however the image I've made is just short of being as big as the Eyebrella. This would be fine it'd just look a little silly but because it comes up short some character's hair (Namely Wilson's) peak out on some of the sprites. I've drawn basically to the edge of the canvas on all the sprites and I'm just not sure what to do from here to try and fix it besides just scrapping the idea or changing it up. Is there a way to make the hat sprites bigger? To have them reach higher or wider with custom hats or even to change the exact spot they appear maybe and move it up a bit to allow more space? Here is some images showing the hat compared to the Eyebrella, it's the side sprite in which there's a tiny bit of hair poking out which is worse when moving even if a bit hard to notice. Doodle Monster
I'm a beginner modder so I could be wrong; but I had a similar situation with a winter coat item. You can make the image canvas size bigger so you have more room to draw, but you also need to overrite the default pivot point to get it to be in the right spot, otherwise it'll probably be way off. Hope this helps! Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167279-custom-hat-problem/#findComment-1831131 Share on other sites
Doodle Monster
Basicly you just have to right click the red dot, and select overwrite default pivot position then save the spriter file and recompile.
