With the recent change to W.A.R.B.I.S giving it electric insulation, I think now is the perfect time for other buffs/changes to it! Not only would it become generally good, it would especially help out for the W.A.R.B.O.T fight giving us insulation and actual good gear to match.

The body armor is perfect, no changes there aside from targeting. The targeting is really finicky in groups (Mainly minion bosses, as small trash groups aren't lasting long enough for the scan anyways) and is easily loss from you or the enemy simply walking away. I've seen the idea of manual targeting in order to prevent losing your scan by attacking something else, but it could be even more finicky depending on the execution. Meanwhile, an easy fix for the latter is just increasing the scan range, simple as that.

The headgear. Oh goodness the headgear. 20% physical damage increase is not it for a post-cc item that needs a celestial crown shard. It might be best to make it a flat damage increase, something less than enlightened crown but not something as atrociously unimpactful as it's current state. a +10-15 planar damage increase along with the current 20% physical damage might be good? It'd require some tuning and testing I believe. There's probably more interesting concepts than a flat damage boost like enlightened crown, but iunno. Discuss in comments.  W.A.R.B.I.S headgear being a sidegrade for enlightened crown, sacrificing some of the damage for armor would genuinely be so awesome.

Speaking of armor, I believe W.A.R.B.I.S should get more planar defense. Right now, it's only 5 planar defense per item, totaling to the same amount as ONE of the brightshade/void items. I'm unsure if this would be possible, but increasing planar defense as the scan goes up would be an interesting idea, up to probably 15 planar defense for the armor, totaling to 20 with the headgear. This would equal it out to be the same as the other rift armor sets.

Another take I've seen is simply changing the W.A.R.B.I.S craft to exclude the shard, along with moving the blueprints to dropping from Scrappy Werepig. As cool as this idea is, I kinda want the set to remain as a post-rift armor set as a counter to W.A.R.B.O.T and such. Though, you could include a shard upgrade to W.A.R.B.I.S, which would give it my previous ideas (Minus targeting, I think the targeting buff should be a base thing.) Speaking of upgrades, the celestial jewel from Celestial Scion could also be used for yet another upgrade. I'm unsure what it would do, but the idea of utilizing some of W.A.R.B.O.T things, such as their missiles seem cool. An example is at max scan, repurposed thermalock missiles will spawn from the headgear and attack the scanned enemy.

A possible W.A.R.B.I.S weapon could be implemented too, but I'm unsure what it could do. Maybe, it can be electric? Maybe use the missile idea I mentioned last paragraph? Like I said, unsure. It is somewhat annoying to have to keep both auto-mech-a-chanics and brightshade repair kits in your inventory to repair your weapon.

I just really like the concept of W.A.R.B.I.S and really hope it becomes a cool counter to W.A.R.B.O.T along as genuinely awesome armor to use. As said earlier, discuss ideas and such.

It could be cool if it was upgradable maybe with certain upgrades similar to Walter’s slingshot. Like targeting speed, targeting range, buff percentages. But I do feel the buff for the helmet does need to change somehow and the targeting…sucks

Honestly I get like having warbis armor as a counter to WARBOT and such, but the main reason warbis armor was made was to help out console players who have trouble switching between gear as fast as PC players can, therefore I think warbis armor should be prerift and also much more accessible, it would also work perfectly as a lunar/wagstaff alternative to dreadstone armor with some much needed recipe tweaks, and maybe post rift could be upgraded with something post rift

As a console player.... It doesn't really help with that much if at all, nobody uses it on console either lol, or atleast haven't really seen it used. It doesn't matter if the buff INSTANTLY disappears when out of range, which means that toadstool spores, Scion blast, bee queen running away, eye of terror dashes and so on and so on all just make your warbis a worse armor to use for like 20 seconds :(

I think a change which would help MASSIVELY is to have a buffer between walking out of range and it ending the lock on, a beeping noise for 3 seconds or so warning you to get back into range would be a HUGE help, otherwise attacks just disable your armor's perks.

There will be two effects: the first is to make the other armors obsolete (Brightshade and Void). The second is to end the planar system, as players will no longer have any risks (20 defense and 30 attack? Only 10 damage per hit?).
