Please Keep The Electric Fences As A Scrappy Werepig Drop

Just this past hour, we've gotten a new beta update, how exciting! With it, we get a number of changes to the electricity system, along with several new items. One of these items is very cool, and it is currently obtained by slaying Scrappy Werepig!

 

The item in question is the electric fence, a boundlessly applicable structure with a lot of fun factor AND utility. Scrappy Werepig has absolutely abysmal drops. He barely drops anything useful outside of the one repair kit you're obviously going to use for Wobot, as well as... Maybe dropping a terrible armor item at like 7-19% durability, which is basically even more useless. His drops further worsen him as a boss, since his fight itself is already pretty lackluster and sometimes even frustrating. This is without mentioning as well that he prevents Nightmare Werepig from respawning until you kill him. While him dropping Electric Fences doesn't necessarily solve his core issues, it makes him far more appealing to fight, since the fences are totally worth going through him and the boss prior.

I'd really prefer that this drop is kept, so that not only does Scrappy have a good drop, but there's an interesting and useful item to craft with scrap pre-rifts. 

 

(He should still drop his post-CC laser as an item though! Please...)

Not sure what made me think of this.. but for WX skill tree he should totally be able to use werepigs laser as an X-Men Cyclops eyeball cannon!

I want him to drop an enlightened shard, then I don't have to deconstruct my first crown or defeat CC again. Seriously there should be some way to get enlightened shard to make up for opening the rift.

CC automatically drops a sixth crown shard among the loot pool to open rifts for free.

Well yeah but that's still the issue. That shard is for rifts. Can't use it on warbis armor.

That is the one you give to wagstaff. I mean, like we can have more approaches to get dread stone (which is also the material to open the rift) post AFW, and a boss that spawns every 20 days (considering the time to locate and defeat NMWP, it is longer than this) won't become an approach that too op to get enlightened shard.

But I won't say no to laser cannon, who will after all. I just worry Klei don't have much time for this. I just hope they can have a look on scrappy werepig while they making electric fences.

That's a separate issue in my opinion. WARBIS gear has no reason to be specifically Post CC and require crown shards. That's a huge reason as to why it's so terrible.

Also the shard is really only there because... I guess that's the only way they could think of making you agree to rifts? Idk man.

That is another question. I think they would perform better if the enlightened shard is replaced by infused moon shards.
