That's why I insist on enhance his skill tree so the torch can became a really useful and iconic tool using by Wilson. Saying this, here some ideas to adapt the current tree without changing the actual arrangement: TORCH TREE Torch Longevity I. Increases torch durability 100% (150 sec). Torch Longevity II. Can use Pine Cone (torch oil) to refuel a torch for 30 sec. Torch Longevity III. Can use a torch to refuel another torch, campfire or fire pit (75s) While equipped, increases speed by 20%. Torch Range I. Increases torch range of light to 5 units. Torch Range II. Can use Nitre (75s or 90s with TL1) to create an Endothermic torch (cool source level 1). Torch Range III. Torch light provides sanity 2/min and knowlegde: can be use as a Science Machine. Torch Toss. Unlocks the ability to throw Torches on the ground, where they continue to burn and emit light until picked up. BEARD TREE Beard Insulation I. Can coat the Beard with Beefalo Wool, adding 20% insulation per coat (max 3). Coats will lose by shaving or die. Beard Insulation II. Craft a Luxury Comb (20 uses). Refresh your beard, reseting at 0 beard insulation (and slows spoilage 50%) for 6 min. Recipe: Walrus Tusk x1, Blue Gem x1, Flint x1. Combing the beard will return all coats. Beard Insulation III. Can coat the Beard with Steel Wool, adding 5% defense per coat (max 3 coats). Coats will lose by shaving or die. Beard Growth I. Beard growths in 3/7/15 days. Beard Growth II. I also thougth on petals for rope or even for papyrus. Yes, maybe boards are too expensive for papyrus but its more real for me. And It Is easier for a new player rather than go yo the swamp. About Charcoal, i was thinking in something related to the phases of alchemy, like calcination, so, trasmutating Charcoal or maybe ashes should be part of the recipes for Wilson. Finally, some kind of cactus produce resine that can be use as a wax. Furthermore, gold Is a renewable resource. About desert Stone and orange gem, I actually thougth to use DS to to obtain orange gem in addition to use purple gem. 6 fragments Is the actual recipe. Is just giving yo Wilson access to that recipe instead using a broken pseudo science station. But pig skin Is More useful, so I believe is should be on that recipe. Regarding silk, this Is Made from glands so that its relation to mosquito sack (also a gland).
