Neat Modding
I know you can open main menu, click on the new DLC and activate it. But what's unclear is what will happen. Is the meteor event going to be activated? Will new planets appear on the star-map in undiscovered locations/discovered locations? My saves are running well into 2000 cycles+ territory. I did a restart for Frosty Planet Pack, which was already a restart of a massive colony, and it's still at what I would consider mid game. Really not looking forward to restart the game yet again. But also cannot find confirmation if some reseeding can happen or restart is the only option. Is it? Is it not? Tigin
You can build the Smoker, and Peat Burner. Fossil Block, and Hanging Fossil Block. You can print Maya/Higby. In addition to the PPP cosmetics, you also unlock PPP-specific items like critters/plant seeds as a possible care package. Neat Modding
Do I get new planets? New resource asteroids to mine with a rocket? Asteroid random event? Regarding PPP cosmetics and all that, I play the game strictly offline (strongly support https://www.stopkillinggames.com/ and all that), so those features are likely as dead as all previous cosmetics. blakemw
In short no, but if you activate Sandbox and/or Debug mode (type in the character KLEIPLAY at main menu then hit backspace in game), you can paste in all sorts of stuff into an existing map. Starmap stuff is likely beyond the scope of such editing. Neat Modding
This might be a problem that could use an urgent fix. Have been buying every DLC for the game, but I rally don't want to restart yet again, as some more complex builds like resource extraction from lava planets, or liquid oxygen and hydrogen coolers, or boilers are just way to expensive to redo every couple months. I love the game, will immediately buy the next DLC if and when it comes out, but restarting so often is becoming crazy. I cannot justify spending some 300h+ just to get to the same point I was before on a new save. Asperatos
To enable new DLC - click on DLC pic you want to enable in the bottom of game menu. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166442-is-it-possible-to-add-the-new-dlc-to-an-existing-save/#findComment-1830186 Share on other sites
