Not that I don’t appreciate the art department’s work in the unfinished beta, but I have some critique and suggestions for the current content.

the warbot looks comically bad because of its jumping attack. 🫠 The only warlike elements that I see on it are heatseeking missles, drones, and orbital strikes. I would have imagined that the latest mechanical iteration from Wagstaff would look like a Decepticon Transformer with a menacing face, with elements taken from the Spark Ark and Sentrypede. 🤪

Also, the Celestial Abomination does not look scary enough. It does not strike fear or awe to me as Ancient Fuelweaver would. I think otherworldly elements in addition to the current wire scraps would make the term abomination more fitting. Design elements taken from the celestial grazer that spawns near the rifts would be a nice addition to the current design.


I know that the lunar faction seeks to possess objects, but I would like to see some ancient celestial elements to it, if in case the devs are considering the warbot and abomination as the final boss for the lunar faction.

 

I also think that adding minute details that leads to the bossfight a bit necessary to the justification of Pearl’s eviction, ie. siphoning the plugged celestial fissure (it’s like evicting someone from their land when you find oil reserves underneath 😝) and adding additional questline for Pearl to help her settle in her new island.
