I like to collect enriched uranium from beeta hives, but almost every time my duplicants come in rooms with hives the beetas bite them and often lower the health scale of dupes below than 70%, and sometimes it can be even below than 50%, and I must to put them on triage cots and be waiting for the recovery time. Sometimes there is be my whole colony on triage cots, and there is nobody to work...

I know beetas sleep in carbon dioxide. But I grow saturn critter trap over the hives and the rooms are always filled with high-pressure hydrogen, so this method won't be effective.

What about to add new beekeper skill for duplicants? It maybe the last field in the husbandry branch and include the protection from the bites (+, maybe, an option of taming beetas?)

Or the protection from the bites can be the new property of Lead Suits.

Or maybe to add a new beekeeper suits.

That's the challenge.

Creating a system to raise a level of co2 in the room as needed.

The access gate works well for this.

Gonna go with hard disagree with this one, if anything, beetas should deal way more damage and give serious radiation poisoning.

After all those are dog sized radioactive bees!

They are 4.5 times more efficient than the alternative, uranium centrifuge, so having them be dangerous is fully justified.

Also with the bionic booster pack, you can set up remote docks to collect honey
