Add an option to Switch Between Don't Starve's Menu and DST's Tab & Category Menu

Is there any way we can integrate the old style of don't Starve's Crafting tabs in the settings? I've played Dst since launch (got the beta key on a livestream) and love dst and the expansions, Its a different game when you've been playing "Reign of Giants" for so long, its like after  "The Forge" Expansion, I grew apart from my Guild "Strictly Unprofessional" I've returned and the game on console isn't as coinvent on console as it is for Mouse players. why not integrate it as a option?

I was testing my siblings patience and playing Don't Starve console is more towards beginners than this tab is frustrating to some beginner female's patience, she enjoys the original games menu tab and i feel like a lot of the community would come back if it wasn't so much to have to customize at the beginning or a younger audience, i want them to understand the patience and survival of don't starve, but having all the items out is just mind blowing to them and then it gets dark fast, they're navigating through the menu and die.
