Anxiattack Posted March 24, 2025 Share Posted March 24, 2025 I'm gonna keep this post clear and concise since it's a smaller request I thought of that would make the new day system that is associated with farming a little more interesting. All I'm suggesting here is a visual day and night cycle, as mentioned in the title. Rather than the game just saying "new day" after each hunt, it would be really cool if when you come out of a hunt the camp would be transitioning into dusk, and then into the night, and then after another hunt, dawn, into day, and the cycle would continue like that. The crops would still behave the same way with this new system, but I just feel like it would look nice, and make for a pretty dynamic change in camp. This could also give the various lamp furniture items a chance to shine, with them glowing in the night. I mean, wouldn't that look so aesthetic? I'm sure Hamish would love it!! Thoughts? Oh, and hey, the music in camp could also change during the night. I was actually thinking about that myself, but I also thought about having the time of day affect hunts. Depending on the time of day, some rots would be more active, others less. For example, Bonechill Quarry at night could have more Meowls, but fewer Snobballs.
