Vanity in Rotwood

I've been playing Rotwood for a little while, absolutely love the game, and my favorite part of it is being able to customize my character's appearance to my liking. However, for the loadouts that I enjoy using for increasing my stats, I thought about how cool it'd be if I could gain the stats of the armor I'm wearing, but have the visual appearance of wearing different armor or hats. The idea is similar to how you can wear vanity sets on top of your real armor sets in Terraria, and I think it'd be awesome if that could be done in this game too.
