At the end of the day, only the vanity tiers of the items differ. Those who used to have the Heirloom tier of skins were for the older players who played during DST's early years, so to make the newer players not missing out on the skins, they make another copy of said skins, but now in Elegant tier.

Same with the Funko Pops and Youtooz-exclusive skins, not many people can afford to buy them since they're limited and are not even available to be shipped in some countries. So having this Resurrected tier available will give a chance to other players to get said skins.
