Why should the containers require a skillpoint?

Things like Wigfrid song jar, Walter ammo pack, Wendy potion basket looks like a basic QoL stuff that should be basic content like feeding beefalo while riding it, yet it costs one skill point to unlock. Why not just put it into the character basic features?

it's hard to tell which feature should be in the base kit, or be skill-tree related. you might think this and that are basic qol, but maybe the developers think otherwise. personally i don't have a problem with containers being skill-tree related, i don't even have a problem with maxwell having a container in his base kit, i manage my inventory well enough/don't find the container practical enough so i just don't take the point
