What warly really needs in his skill tree.

Im gonna be honest i think warly is in a good spot right now, he has a solid gameplay but its true that he is hard to use and his strongest powers(electric jelly) are at the mercy of the luck. 

I read the post of Guille and while i agree with most of his points about warly i think i have a better idea than just reworking him to be the same as shipwrecked but worst cause the nerf to his penalty to repeating dishes. My idea is a lot funnier than just numbers, i think warly should have a skill that allows him to work a little like in the GORGE game, something that adds fun to the character and even fun to play for new players.

First skill: Now warly has cravings for one of the 3 specific type of dishes of the cookbook ( meat dishes, veggie dishes, other dishes), this is gonna work like a roulette and the choosed type of dish is gonna stay like a craving for 2 days, Now warly gets 10% more stats for the first dish of the chosen craving, 15% for the second one and 25% for the the third one (all of them have to be different dishes and if you repeat you are getting the normal penalty plus your next dish is gonna restart the buff to 10%). You can still eat any meal like normally but now if you satisfy your cravings you get a little reward.

Second skill: Now warly has more specific cravings (fruit meal, veggies meal, egg meal, monster meal, sweet meal, fish meal, etc). He gets 40% more stats for every non repeated dish. The same as the previous skill but stronger.

You get some dish recommendations on top of the screen plus a basic recipe of the ingredients you need (this is mostly to help new players to learn new recipes without having to craft the cookbook or check the wiki)

Third skill: Now warly along side the previous skill effect he gets the strongest craving of the GORGE, he wants 1 specific meal along side the specific kind of dishes, for example: Warly is craving for fish tacos so he wants fish food in general so he can get 40% more stats for every fish food but fish tacos. If you feed warly with his most craved (fish tacos), along side the normal stats of the dish you are gonna get 20 sanity points, 30 health points and its gonna fill the hunger to 100%, and he is gonna get a new buff the "food frenzy", this last 4 minuts or half a day and during that buff the hunger of warly is gonna be paused, plus he can eat the most craved dish (fish tacos) without any penalty, always getting 20 sanity and 30 health extra points. After the 4 minuts you can't get a new most craved meal again, you have to wait the 2 days cooldown.

So with this example you can eat fish tacos over the duration of that craving (2 days) and if you eat the meal you are gonna get:

hunger = 250points+paused               sanity = 5 + 20 extra = 25 points in total.         health = 20 + 30 extra = 50 health points in total.

And you can stuff all the fish tacos you want during 4 minuts without penalty, always getting all these buffs! but do remember that the dish its totally random, instead of fish tacos imagine this with mandrake soup, so at the end its a little about luck. its still a really good and cool idea in my opinion.

You get a basic recipe of the most craved dish on top of the screen.( again just to help new players)

Last skill: Now warly's cravings last 4 days. So warly now can be craving for meatballs for 4 days, cause these skills are a roulette and you cant guess which dish is the next one this last skill gives more time to prepare the dishes.

All these skills are gonna strongly encourage people to use a good variety of dishes but they are not gonna punish players that just want to eat 20 meatballs during those 2 days, this way players that just want to eat the strongest dishes can still do it while players who satisfy the gnaw... i mean Warly can get a better reward 

And finally i loved the idea of the sparkle effect on dishes that gives bonus to warly, good idea Guille hope this one makes it to live.

I also read the post of Guille, I must say I have seen many good idea with Warly's skilltree including yours.

I would also love to mention Warly's mother in the skilltree. For example, every once in a while, Warly would look for a dish that might evoke his mother's memory, and if it was cooked and eaten successfully, he would receive a reward(OK I haven't made up the reward thing yet)

 

BTW I also want to see the new exclusive goods(kitchen knife?or even special Ham stick)
