YouKnowWho142
Just to add onto all the Walter skill tree praise, one of my favorite parts of it that other skill trees tend to lack is that the skills are genuinely competitive. I actually struggled a fair bit to use my points since they all had a pretty strong incentive without ever feeling wasteful (even the more meh skills like the rope one can still be fairly desirable) to be clear, I think it’s very unreasonable for other skill trees to be on the same level as Walter’s. The theme I’ve noticed is that characters who are already considered weak or undesirable (Winona, Walter, woodie, Willow) also recieved the highest quality skill trees, which I suspect is because these characters had a clear vision in their refreshes that wasn’t realized on the same level as other characters and were therefore fleshed out in the skill tree. Therefore, inherently stronger characters with simpler gimmicks (Wendy, Wolfgang, wurt to some extent) ended up not being given quite as much, whether that’s agreeable is up for debate and isn’t the focus of this topic. what I mean to say, though, is that regardless of whether the skill tree is meaty like Walter’s or simpler like Wolfgang’s I hope current and future skill trees can have more competitive skill trees that support how players want to play their character instead of a more defined use of skill points that some other skill trees fall under Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163860-something-really-significant-about-walter%E2%80%99s-skill-tree/ Share on other sites

That alone I find incredible. And the same is true for Woby-related skills.
