Use gears and frazzled wires to make scraps?

Recommended Posts

Scrap can be obtained in sufficient quantities for a player's first defeat of CC from a junky fence. Currently, the best method to acquire scrap in large amounts is not by defeating the scrappy werepig, but by provoking it and then maintaining a distance, continuously searching through the junk piles it throws. Could we potentially obtain a blueprint for synthesizing scrap from gears and frazzled wires after defeating the scrappy werepig? This would not allow players to bypass the junkyard to obtain scrap, and it would also make the scrappy werepig's drops more valuable.

How much scrap do you really need?

Alright, actually, I brought this up because I noticed that Walter's scrap ammo is quite expensive in the beta version. For solo players, it only takes 8 pieces of scrap to defeat CC, but for multiplayer, each player needs to defeat CC once to obtain the Enlightened Crown. For players like me who enjoy spending a long time in a single world, I need to gather a lot of Enlightened Shards to light up the Glowcap. Locking this blueprint behind the Scrappy Werepig wouldn't bother anyone and would provide a lot of convenience for those who need it.

Thank you for pointing this out, because it's a part of why I didn't pick this ammo even though I was okay with the saffron feather cost. Scrap is now required for one of Walter's ammo types, Winona's robots, Wobot repair kits, the Warbis gear, and the Celestial Champion fight. And the only renewable way we have to get it is to fight Scrappy Werepig every 20 days. Solo is hard enough with this, but imagine competing for scrap in pubs.

That's not the best method to farm scrap in my opinion. Destroying the fence around the scrap yard yields a lot of scrap and it also regenerates. How much scrap do you really need?

I've had trouble just getting enough scrap to fight the celestial champion, and sometimes wildfires burn down the fence
