I've played the character mode I made for a long time. But I've never seen these images in game. I'm curious. Ratituee Posted February 8, 2025 Share Posted February 8, 2025 selectscreen_portraits are not used anymore; they were used in older versions and i think in solo dont starve, but now you just click a character's head to select them. they mostly exist for legacy purpose. they also contained a silhouette version for before they were unlocked. i think avatars are images that show up on the map to mark a character and to show when they are nearby... i could be wrong but that's what it seems to me i don't know what a "character mode template" is, and cannot find it in the folders of any character mods, so it might not be needed.
