Anyway, to get back on topic, I think the lack of sanity restoration for naughty is more an issue than 5 less healing. You can always release an extra soul to make up for the health, but 0 times anything is just 0. Needing an alternate source means it's no longer souls for all stats, which isn't worth the overload protection perk. Nice still lets you throw the same souls at the issue as neutral, which makes the friendly mob perk a bonus.

The proper equivalent would be half the sanity loss from eating souls, reduced health and sanity gains from releasing. It'd be inconvenient to swing his sanity with souls, but you could still do it.

Maybe I'm confused on what tree side you're referring to but you don't get a sanity penalty from eating souls with naughty Inclination. That sanity loss remains for neutral and nice builds when eating souls.

You get 0 penalty from eating and 0 recovery from releasing. I'm proposing naughty stats should be half of neutral instead.
