Now that the beta's current state has sat for a bit, it's time for another Poll as beta starts up again.
 

Notes on questions:

  • Q1 is assuming Blessed sisturn gets reworked into an "ideal state", whatever that may entail. It generally warps a lot of opinions on the tree, so it gets its own question. How does the rest of the tree stand up on it's own.
  • Q2 is about blessed sisturn 3 specifically, does it need fine tuning?
  • Q3 is the typical "which skills need changes" question.
  • Q4 is on the nature of shadow Abigail. If she needs nerfs. I chose to focus on the defensive nature of Shadow Abigail, as her offense is her identity.
  • Q5 is on aesthetics for the reason her beta was extended.

Opinion vomit:

-Very satisfied: I think that with player tag fixed, the skill tree would be kinda at a point where needed buffs equal needed nerfs

 

Buffs: Team spirit seperate cds, not needed but very welcome (also controller/console need desperate help.) Mourning glory ||, maybe? I like it currently, but a pause on the effects instead of them disappearing when taken off would be cool. Understandable if not implemented.

 

Nerfs: Scare cd. Ghastly experience being %. Might need the skill tree to be a little tighter? More insight expensive? Idk.

 

Gestalt Abby: mixed bag ngl. The hp threshold should probably decrease, and automatically deaggro. And make commands useable.

 

I think either her damage and synergy with attack at is kept, or attack at turns to a single target for her and her damage increases. Accessibility for her would be welcome, I don't find it needed but welcome. Perhaps the lunar blossom quest is moved her. Also, she sometimes attacks into attacks like bearger's, maybe make it so that she attacks from Wendy's side only or something? Or at an angle or something not opposite to.

 

Mentioned mourning glory || before, but shield elixirs need something.

 

Graves might need something. I don't have an opinion on them. I honestly don't really like them so I can't comment.

 

Shadow Abby is fine in my opinion. Gestalt Abby needs to be improved, not Shadow Abby needing to be nerfed really. She's cool, she's simple. The fact that you give up on the survivability of lunar is good enough in my opinion. Since gestalt Abby is pretty great at surviving. The cost of needing to murder is pretty cool. It makes you have to plan it out. 2x damage would be way too much in my opinion. She's already at risk when it comes to fighting bosses, and can still die against worms, brightshades and etc. Maybe something like 1.2x ig? But I do think she's fine. Especially since, while getting an alive ceeature is easy, keeping it alive can often be inconvenient. Bundles can't be used, and you need inventory slots for it and for food to feed it.

 

She might need to look a little cooler though.

 

I don't see much harm with the new Blessed Sisturn ||| benefiting her. If you're gonna spend 3 insight points on it. And all it does is give some extra health.

 

Cursed Vexation. Yea, not useful post rifts which sucks. I still like it. I don't think it needs something, but if I were to suggest something, it would be like making some of the damage gained via vex planar if shadow Abby is active. In order to keep with gestalt Abby benefiting more from the lunar elixir.

 

MG ||| seems to have been complained a lot, so ig it needs to be changed, only aesthetically or not idk.

Pretty based set of opinions ngl.

The only thing I will add is that MG 3 needs to have a mechanical differentiation from Meat Effigy. Also Haunt RNG.

Scare CD, Ghastly Experience and Insight costs are the main set of nerfs needed.
