Cucuber Posted December 17, 2024 Share Posted December 17, 2024 There is a balancing issue for lunar Abigail. Either she is too powerful because she deals a lot of damage and is never killed. Or she deals less damage and is able to die but then shadow Abigail is just better. I like the fact that shadow Abigail deals AOE damage while she can be killed, she is the offensive variant. Lunar abigail should be the opposite, deal a lot of single target damage while being hard to kill, the defensive variant. But as many probably noticed when lunar Abigail was first introduced, this leads to Wendy being able to not engage in the fight and just let Abigail do all the work. Instead I believe that lunar abigail should return to how she was at her peak, deal a lot of single target damage and be hard to kill, with one exception. I think she should only attack once Wendy has dealt sufficient damage. Kind of like Wendy's damage charges up abigail. This would solve the problem of lunar abigail just being the one dealing damage while still being defensive. It could also tie nicely into the fact that the lunar side, more specifically Alter, has some quirks with biological life as they can mutate lifeforms. So maybe Abigail being “charged” by Wendys attack is Abigail taking life from the creature Wendy attacks and then using it to deal more damage.
